I never really gave 50 cent a chance and I'm 100% his music is just icky. But in the end I think As I Lay Dying aren't that bad as some people here say. They're just an avarage metalcore band. Maybe you should try All That Remains cuz they're way better and their main vocalist can also actually sing the mellow parts so they don't need a bass player with a good singing voice. Seriously All That Remains are like 325421346 times better than As I Lay Dying. Crushing all deceivers, mashing non-believers\ Never ending potency\ Hungry violence seeker, feeding off the weaker\ Breeding on insanity
