does anybody know with wich bass the soulfly bassist plays
which strings he uses, why only 4 stings?

but I play 5 string without really needing the high g
u have just more options, but fuck the 4-string-subject

4 string is classical. its like the seven string guitars. who needs that? death metal bands and new metal bands

but soulfly is on B
so his bass is B E A D

but the player must know if he needs more strings
I think the bass has only more weight with more strings, high strings make no problems

Bobby should be using a 5 string with a low B then, less effort to down tune and easier to play. Seems like he's just using 5 string bass strings on a 4 string.

I am a bass player. When I play soulfly songs with my metal band I tune my bass - B A D G, instead for a E-string, I have a low B-string.

Bobby plays ltd eclipse bass.

But in the prophecy video, bobby plays a 5-string bass. I have seen pictures of him in studio where i plays 5-string. But live he only use ltd eclipse bass.

I wached the video some days after I wrote tha

haha

and it is'nt a 5-string bass either!

but I forgot to edit my tex

but i have seen bobby with a 5-string bass (i think)
