Hey,

Im going to the Gigantour gig (fucking seats....) in Melbourne and i was just wonering what u guys think would be the best way to try and meet the band etc.

The band times are this:

**APPROXIMATE RUNNING TIMES**

Doors: 5.45pm

Caliban: 6.20-7.00pm

Arch Enemy: 7.15-7.55pm

Soulfly: 8.15-9.00pm

Megadeth: 9.30-11.00pm

So, should i leave before the end of the soulfly set and go around the back (as i hear max etc. like to leave early in the night), or just stick around till the end of Megadeth and try my luck? Or should i try and get their during Arch Enemy's set ebfore they go on stage?

Cheers.

The easiest way is to get backstage access ... or a press pass.

yeah...but i guess you could also go during the arch enemy show and try your luck. to meet max you definetly have to be there before the doors even open. just check durin what period of time there are least fans tryin to meet the band, thats when the chance for u to meet em and talk for a bit is greatest

Go there behind the doors open...

If you go there early you should meet them...When they played here I went there at like 11.30 am and they showed up like at 14.00...They are really friendly and have no problem to chat and sign your stuff...Fuck the fuckers who say tht they are not friendly...

I doubt that, Festival Hall (the venue) is like an old run down school gymnasium. And there's hardly any room outside for stuff.

I've got school the day of the gig, so i'll try to get off at 1 and be at the place at 3. 2:30 hours before doors open should be cool right? Also i heard that max doesn't like signing Sepultura stuff so i don't think i should bring any

Oh yeah, he'd most likely be entering the stage doors, so would it be better to wait round back?

I really doubt they'll have a bus dude, the distances between gigs are too big and under to tight a schedule. Probably flying.

hahah oh yeah in australia things will be different for the guys, but i mean they definetly will ahve a bus dude, for the stage stuff instruments etc. and for the transport from the airport. will probably be a smaller one, still i suggest you to wait by the back entrance

They'll definetely have a bus...How are they gonna be transfered from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the venue ? So wait until the bus comes...
