Awesome, awesome gig. Missed most of the support band as i was in a nearby bar, but what i heard was *fairly* good, if a tad generic.

Soulfly's sound was spot-on, save for the lead guitar being a tad low in the mix, but i blame that on the Academy's shitty PA system, and it really wasn't a major issue.

Setlist was excellent - the stuff from Prophecy sounded especially great.
From what i remember, it was the same setlist as the Nottingham Rock City gig, only with one major change. THEY PLAYED AN AMAZING COVER OF SABBATH'S 'SYMPTOM OF THE UNIVERSE', WHICH WENT DOWN BRILLIANTLY!!, just before ^Eye for an Eye^. Max was on top form, the rest of the band were as tight as hell, and i can't wait to see them again..

Intro
Babylon
Prophecy
Seek 'N' Strike
Living Sacrifice
Roots Bloody Roots
Jumpdafuckup (tease) > Bring It
Mars
Refuse/Resist
Execution Style
LOTM > Angel Of Death (tease)
Porrada
Drum Interlude
Bleed (w/t Ritchie Cav)
Tree Of Pain (w/t Ritchie Cav)
Back To The Primitive
Frontlines
Symptom of the Universe (Black Sabbath Cover)
Eye For An Eye

^^^^ If i've fucked anything up, which i probably have, please let me know. I'd had a shit-load to drink (i blame Costermongers' ) and my memory's a bit hazy.

Fantastic performance, it really was. Many thanks to the band and the road-crew!

Oh, and the fact that they played most of Judas Priest's ^Painkiller^ album on 'random play' during the break between the support band and Soulfly was a particularly fucking great surprise.

I kicked ass. Find it on Sepultura's Blood Rooted Album

But that doesn't get close to hearing it live!
