I don't think that a band turns mainstream even if it has such poser fans. As I see it, the term ^mainstream^ just means that a band is well known, and not necessarily liked by the majority of people.

there is no problem hearing that a band is good and then getting into them or checking them out, that happens. I mean when people want to act like they are some bigass fans or have been for years when thats not the truth, thats wrong... and i can see where it offends some. The thing is though, soulfly are popular and it's not a type of band where it's ^your thing^ such as a kickass local act ya know wut im saying???

i only like the first 7 songs..the rest is too ^wierd^ for my taste...Molotov and Frontlines show how Rizzo can shred...i love that

yea...i dont like the electronic sounds...i think thats not what soulfly is about...theyr music has always been warm in a way...the songs after the 7th one on dark ages just feel realy cold and emotionless...
