For 2 times I have this ^ringing^ problem... After Uncommonmenfrommars show in 2002 and a month ago after Soulfly live... but it disappeared 3 days after.
I wear earplugs in Soulfly show for 2 reasons :
1. when I had a medical visit in order to join Army (that's what I wanted to do..) 2 yeas ago, they find that I ve got a little earing problem (genetic, not due to the live !! ).. so I want also to listen music after a show !!
2. I remembered the Uncommon Live (and the ^ringing^..) and it was only a Punk Rock band.. so Soulfly... !! lol

I think if you're too focused on the ^ringing^, maybe you 'll ear it even if it disappeared... for example, in bed, when there is the silence around, you think ^my ears are ringing^ but when you don't care, you don't ear it anymore (I don't know, but it was what I felt...).

also i stopped wearing headphones and now i listen to music only from speakers. little bit of sacrifice.

yeah im happy ur ears are fine again. i would have gone crazy too!but i started wearing ear plugs for the opening bands as well now
