1. Bad Brains, Build a Nation
Killer Bad Brains shit with a mix vibe of quickness and I against I.

2. Disfear, Live the Storm
Awesome technical metal with great guitar licks.

3. Gojira, The Way of All Flesh
A really good Gojira album with Logan Mader's killer sound, and kind of a Roots guitar vibe.

4. Gogol Bordello, Gypsy Punks
East European kings of punk with gypsy influence.

5. Turbo Trio, Turbo Trio
The Brasilian Prodigy, Portuguese lyrics about violence, an a musical vibe of "City of God."

6. Incite, Divided We Fail
Incites EP is really a leap forward musically, and Richies vocals are kick ass.

7. Agnostic Front, Warriors
One of the best hardcore releases of the year. A.F. is going strong after more then 2 decades. Much respect.

8. Amon Amarth, Twilight of the Thunder God
Killer heavy shit with a Nordic vibe, kinda like old Bathory. Awesome winter music.

9. Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Insect Warfare
Grind core to fuck shit up, enough said.

10. Hirax, The New Age of Terror
Classic thrash metal from Katon de Peua and gang, check out Unleash the Dogs of War.

I totaly forgot about Protest the Hero and their album Fortress. Awesome material.

Opeth's Watershed was probably my favourite of the year. Motorizer was really good too, and Modern Guilt by Beck. Chinese Democracy I had high hopes for, but I didn't think it would be that good. I have an urge to listen to conquer a lot but there's a lot on it I don't like, and I can listen to maybe half of Inflikted, though The Exorcist gets frequent spins. I say spins like I have a record player, which I of course do not. What else? Cradle Of Filth's latest was excellent, though I have to disagree with BrasilPorrada about The Fathomless Mastery, I thought it sounded like a rushed side project of some very bored musicians. Unblessing The Purity on the other hand was like my most played CD this year, so I don't know what happened.

And great comebacks from a more mature-sounding Slipknot and of course Metallica, even though the tracks on Death Magnetic are less songs and more collections of riffs just stuck together, if you take my meaning.

Good year for music, beats the hell outta 07.

hmm, Elari, so apparently me and max are the only ones who didn't put conquer on their top. the truth is that i've listened to conquer way more than any other album this year.. it's probably one of my favorites of the year, but i really didn't feel right including them on the list... i don't know.. Let's just say mine are the top 10 albums i think you guys should be listening to this year besides Conquer...
