First of all this whole influences thing y'all had goin in here - each and every band sounds kinda like some other band, deal with it. Throwdown sounds at times like Pantera, Darkest Hour like In Flames, In Flames like Dark Tranquinity, Linkin Park like Limp Bizkit, Limp Bizkit like Rage Against The Machine, Trivium like Metallica, Blood Has Been Shed like Meshuggah, Terror like Hatebreed, Ektomorf like Soulfly, Soulfly like Sepultura (Roots period), Mnemic like Fear Factory, Sybreed like Fear Factory,... I could go on and on.

Being influenced by some other band doesn't mean you can't be creative or unique. Look at RATM, they're influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers (obvious funk influence), Public Enemy and *insert any rock/metal band here*. But still their sound is fuckin' unique.

Anyway back on topic, this band is simply amazing. I wouldn't say they're boring, I just love their music.
