-He was at the aiport soon to board a plane headed to Paris to film the new Cavalera Conspiracy video.
-I'll be booking him a solo show here in Lowell,Masachusetts to kick off his tour that will run from February through March.
-He has a new booking agent that I'll be dealing with as well since he is no longer with the Mustang Booking Agency.
-He is working on new tracks that have plenty of vocals by him.
-Possible Cavalera Conspiracy tour after his solo tour in April.
-He said the new Soulfly album is very,very good.
-Head of A & R at RoadRunner is saying the new Soulfly is the heaviest album Max Cavalera has ever done.

This conversation with Marc had put a smile on my face. Us,the die hard Soulfly/Cavaera Conspiracy/Mr. Marc Rizzo fans have a hell of a year in store. I feel like 2008 will be the year that we get spoiled...

it's a serious possibility, you know. metal is rarely promoted well by any label if you ask me; the fans always spread the word the best. if people are interested, we'd just have to have a couple people to manage it and help keep it running smoothly. i'm sure we could organize something like sticker or flyer distribution before the album release with guest list spots or something for team members who help out by pasting up shit around town or hand out flyers at shows... i remember doing similar stuff for bands like glassjaw and deftones when their albums were coming out back in the day. it's an idea and i'll try to get it going if people support it..

Great to know we've got a starting base. I'll talk to Oasis and RR about it and if we can get their support (..for suppllying stickers, stencils, flyers etc.) i'll post a sign up form at either soulfly.com and the bands myspace sites.

if they go along with it, i'd like to start it up in as soon as the artwork is completely confirmed. i'm not in school right now so it shouldn't be too tough to organize..
