the recovery cds arent for recover information xD..in fact are for...leave the computer in a first state with the operating system and the drivers, deleting all the files that u have now in the HDD... what u can do..for recover ur information is take ur hard disk from the computer and put it like SLAVE in other..or..get a copy of windows and try to do a recover installation that install windows without deleting any files..

Try to put the hard disk like slave in another computer... you can recover your files..for that u take out your hard disk... and change the jumpers in the behind part of the disk, place it just how the disk say (look in the HDD very well for you can do it right)...then connect it to another computer..turn that computer on and in MY PC must appear the disk and take the files..save them and format it all again ._. im too tired for make and tutorial with pictures so by now try it with this xD

if u install a new one u will loose all your files...but anyway xD..good luck xD

Get a free Ubuntu-cd and boot from that. Get a friend that can work with a computer to halp you and go from there.
