Posts: 2199 Member #: 99,856 Joined: 09/02/2010	just heard for the first time. i'm not a huge fan of the cover, but i think max's vocals sound off on it. a few parts i could have used a could guttural scream from cavalera, but instead it was just a grunt or two. the last 1 minute of the song is pretty unexpectedly sick though.. Cant ignore the cynics/ cant explore the gimmicks/\ cant report the dividends/\ Limited only by the need to stay fed http://www.mindinversion.com

Posts: 2199 Member #: 99,856 Joined: 09/02/2010	after several listens (and a closer comparison to the original) i like it quite a bit. the whole song definitely has a soulfly vibe throughout it, and the ending is just crushing. he production is the clearest I've ever heard from Soulfly and it makes the whole recording sound very fresh. Joe's drumkit sounds amazing on this too, as does Bobby's low-end!
