that's the topic. media.

in my opinion, the government has created a society of mindless drones in the u.s. there is a small percentage who attempt to think for themselves, but the rest are governed by hollywood and the television. it's something that's unescapable, and it's almost sickening to me. how can humans evolve when the major media conglomerates are working with the government to keep our minds in a box?

agreeded, these people are real life zombies who have had their sould sucked right out of them if you ask me.. and it starts when people are too young to protect themselfs from this kind of bullshit, it is indeed very sickening..

is is the age of "human deevloution"

is it me or is it more common in women? to be fair though its probally just that i notice it more in women as a strait man who dosent find it an attractive feature

i don't know if that would help... there is SOOOO much pointless information being thrown into everyones face constantly on a day-to-day basis, that most people just retreat from it and end up watching movies or listening to music to kill their time, rather than being active and enjoying the world. in my opinion, this is why many people worship celebrity's... they allow us to mindlessly escape the rest of the propaganda that's being thrown at us.

hink about the fact that 15% of the ads on the entire internet are run on myspace. then acknowledge that myspace is run by news corporation, the same corporation that controls fox media corp, time mag, and hundreds of other media conglomerates. when you consider the amount of input our government has on stations like fox news, it's scary to think that they control sooooo much of the other media that we see, too. it's possible to subtly slip their agendas in on us without us ever knowing. media literally is like the fourth branch of the government and its destroying our societies survival and the chance to evolve.

when the history books are being written in 150 years, I bet the confilct in iraq will only receive a small blip. the big story will be the way that men like rupert murdoch controlled and infantilized adults everywhere in the world.

he biggest problem is that there isn't proper media education in this country. no one is taught the way that tv should be interpreted, and as such, most people misinterpret tv. they take everything they see as reality and forget about any bias simply because it's on tv. but the reality is that every millisecond of tv has been broadcast to each persons living room through there fucking television with one specific purpose.. to control the way you think.
