Posts: 479 Member #: 100,030 Joined: 09/02/2010	Buy this amplifier with extreme caution!!! I bought one from guitar center January 13 and returned it February 1! When it worked right it sounded great! Clean channel was good. With my Les Paul and the blues channel I could get a great 60's blues rock sound ala Rolling Stones/Cream/Animals; very similar to an old Vox amp. With the crunch channel I could get a nice Led Zeppelin sound to a good AC/DC sound. The metal channel closely simulated a mesa boogie amp..it was fun to play slayer, Iced Earth, Soulfly and fear factoy songs on this channel. Problems: Volume and tone would fluctuate while I was playing. Occassionally the speakers would pop, crack and emit static while playing. I'm going to save up for a better amp..possibly a real mesa boogie! Any amp recommendations? "Fuck Communists!"
