Coudent find a thread on metallica so made this one, any fans out there? im a huge fan of their music although i only own their pre-black albums - kill em all, ride the lightning, justice for all & master of puppets. i think they are one of the best metal bands of all time without a doubt, their music is simpilly amazeing in my opinion excellent riffs, solo's and songs & a good variety of tempo's and style. im not to fond of the direction they took on the black album and onwards i feel that this was the end of the true metallica that they once were, although they releashed some great singles their albums from black onwards also contained alot crap tunes, and then he started putting on that stupid fake cowboy accent.. things got more intresting with st anger as they came with a brand new style for them.. it isnt any where near as good as what i think is their greatest stuff but a change was needed non the less.. their next album is being produced with rick rubin (slipknot, rhcp e.t.c) which could proove very intresting with a few surprises with whichever direction that they take this album in. im keeping my ears/eyes open for that.

I wouldn't say Load and ReLoad were exactly crap, but they could've just taken the best songs off both albums and stuck 'em on one.

exactly.. thats what made em crap in my opinion.. a waste of cd space..

its before master of puppets..

ride the lightning is my favourite album at the moment of theirs.. though it changes as i think they all fucking kick arse.

I have listened them almost whole my life. I started when I was something like 5 or 6 years old so fuck yeah I love Metallica! I like all of their albums. ...and justice for all is still the best one. Too bad it has shitty production. Anyone knows where to buy remastered version of it?
