I wasn't there from the begining, but had a chance to listen to the band performing before Soulfly. They were terrible. I didn't catch their name, but if any of you were there, please let me know so I will know for the future.
Anyways, Soulfly did great (as usual), but there is something tha I need to add. I've been to three of their concerts in Chicago. Every time they play the same shit. They always play Sepultura's old tracks like, 'Roots Bloody Roots,' 'Chaos AD...' Personaly, I would like to hear different tracks for example, 'Teritory,' or 'Lookaway.' I believe that different repertoire would make the show more interesting, especially for the people that come to see Soulfly every chance they have. Just few different songs would make a huge difference.
Please let me know what you think.

Peace

well soulfly always have different setlists throughout their tour. If you see them three times in a row at one tour, you can be sure they will change the setlist! there are certain songs that they ALWAYS play. like jumpthefuckup/bring it, but they always change their setlist. so you probably jus had bad luck with the shows where u got to see em. But yeah roots and refuse resist are the normal sep songs they play, but i also got to hear mass hypnosis twice, territory a couple of times or even symtom of the universe

LOOK OUT FOR THE SOULFLY FRONT LINE SQUAD

The show at the House of Blues was cool on May 3, 2006. There was not a packed house so the atmosphere was much more intimate with the band. Personally for me, I don't care what the setlist is. With a band like Soulfly, they always give 110 percent no matter what the song is. The parts of the show that were most interseting was when Max would take a break and the rest of the band just jam out for a second. You can see how well they play together. Then Max comes out and kicks your ass again. It's like a fuckin religious experience man! Arise Again!!!
