Anyways ya fucken summer the time bands, but I want to know if any you guys had like some tips on how to write a good song?? Or like what you do to write songs. The band I'm in were kinda like Marilyn manson/Mindless self indulgence/korn kinda.

Posts: 101 Member #: 100,564 Joined: 09/02/2010	In the band I was 3 years ago, the singer wrote lyrics and telled the guitar player how he 'd like it sounds, then the guitar player tried to make some riffs and then, I listened to it (I'm bass player) and made the bass riff (I also modified the guitar riff sometimes when it sounds bad...) ... I think every band has it's own method...

I rather die on my feet, Then keep living on my knees.

Posts: 432 Member #: 101,199 Joined: 09/02/2010	i agree, if you try to write 'good songs/music' it will be shit.. just pick up your instrument make noise if it sounds good record then tweek simple. or just write grindcore like me, today ive finished 3 tracks, and they are great i don't really try to write tracks i just try to noise up my street stand tall, be counted http://www.myspace.com/pukemusicbedford
