eight years of bush, and I'm very proud of my country right now. Barack Obama has won the race here tonight... it's my first presidential election and the largest surge of youth voting in many generations, and i feel we've spoken for the commitment to change that we desire. most of all, i'm very inspired by how much the many months of local organization and campaigning have paid off; i'm celebrating tomorrow.

The election has left me feeling optimistic about the future of America. I think Obama is a bright guy, but I fear it is a bad time to be President-he may end up remembered like Herbert Hoover. On the bright side I have noticed that Obama has distanced himself from other so-called black leaders like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. That gives me hope for Obama....I just hope he doesn't meet the same end as JFK.

dude, last night on msnbc's hardball with chris mathews, he was saying that it leaked out from the mccain camp that when Palin joined the ticket, she apparently didn't even know what countries were in North America and didn't know that Africa was a continent and not a country (she thought south africa was a state in africa or some bs..)!! how fucking scary is it that she got that close to being the president of the united states?? alot of people here are either extremely dumb, or just can't make a proper decision.. or a bit of both.

believe me, Gus, i know. it amazes me sometimes how proud some people seem of their ignorant ways.. i don't let dumbfucks bother me or get in my way though.

in my opinion, McCain fucked up in the beginning by organizing a campaign staff that borrowed heavily from the staff that Bush used to get elected four years earlier. ..i would venture to guess that mccain knew nothing at all about sarah palin before steve schmidt confirmed her - and that's pretty fucking scary. mccain should've had the balls to assert his influence more.. Obama won because he was intelligent, EXTREMELY organized, confident, and likable. he ran a perfect campaign in comparison with the mccain-palin shitshow...
