Soulfly's new album, Enslaved, will be released March 13, 2012. The band's lineup now includes bassist Tony Campos, formerly of Static-X, and drummer David Kinkade, formerly of Borknagar, alongside frontman Max Cavalera and guitarist Marc Rizzo. You can see a photo of the new lineup below.

As is customary with Soulfly, the band will introduce some new and unexpected elements into the mix, including a guest violinist. Soulfly also collaborates with two metal veterans on the new record: Dez Fafara of DevilDriver and Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation. Ryan said it was "an honor to receive a call from someone you had pictures of on your wall as a kid."

Soulfly will release their eighth studio album, Enslaved, on March 13, 2012, marking their 15th anniversary as a band at the same time. The lineup on Enslaved features frontman Max Cavalera and guitarist Marc Rizzo, with Static-X's Tony Campos taking up the bass and brand-new drummer David Kinkade taking over behind the kit.

Enslaved was recorded at Tallcat Studios in Phoenix, Arizona and was produced by Zeuss, in collaboration with Max Cavalera.

As is customary with Soulfly, the band will introduce some new and unexpected elements into the mix, including a guest violinist. Soulfly also collaborates with two metal veterans: Dez Fafara of DevilDriver and Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation. Ryan said it was "an honor to receive a call from someone you had pictures of on your wall as a kid."

Cavalera also wrote a song "Revengeance" about his slain stepson Dana, whose death was the catalyst for the creation of Soulfly. He partners with his sons Igor and Richie on vocals, while his other son Zyon plays drums. It is the first time he has performed with three of his sons.

The 15th Annual D-Low Memorial Festival has been announced.

The show will take place on December 30, 2011 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ and will feature performances by Soulfly, Incite, Lody Kong, and more.

Soulfly has brought drummer David Kinkade (of Borknagar) to record drums for Soulfly's eighth studio album. David is best known for his high speed of playing as well as his blast-beats.

Tony Campos (Static-X, Prong, Asesino, Ministry) is now an official member of the Soulfly family.

Our new bass player will be performing his first show as a member of Soulfly at the Lokerse festival in Belgian festival on July 31st.

On Monday, Max, Marc, Joe, and Johny traveled home from Europe and abroad,and after a short break for the Thanksgiving holiday they will hit the road for their tour of the United States!

The kickoff is scheduled on Friday in Hollywood (where DEP's Greg Puciato is said to be on the guestlist; wink, wink) will feature 19 stops that span the country. All dates and ticket/venue info is linked below.

Soulfly is in the midst of the second European leg of their Omen World Tour and isn't expecting to slow down anytime soon. The band has added several dates to their forthcoming US tour with Straight Line Stitch & Incite including stops in Ohio, Massachusetts, Arkansas, and South Carolina. The tour will begin in southern California, traverse northeast across the country towards New England, and then take a sharp turn towards the south; in addition to the touring bands, these shows will feature support from various local bands along the way. Brothers Massimiliano Antonio and Igor Graziano Cavalera are scheduled to return to their homeland of Brasil together to perform with their side project Cavalera Conspiracy at this year's Starts With U (SWU) Festival on October 11th! This performance will be the brothers first time appearing onstage together in Brasil since they toured the country around the release of Sepultura's Roots, just before the subsequent fracture of the band band 15 years ago. Get your tickets now. Cavalera Conspiracy will be warming up for the show with a performance at the Maquinaria Festival in Santiago, Chile on October 9th

Cavalera Conspiracy's lineup is rounded out by Marc Rizzo (Soulfly, solo artist) and Johny Chow (Soulfly, Fireball Ministry). They are expected to release their forthcoming second album (the followup to 2008's debut Inflikted) at the start of 2011.
