  I was not much of a metalhead until I got into Sabbath and pretty much lost interest in it when the last hope for rock died with the end of GnR (Guns and Roses). I came across Dark Ages when I was in a record store trying to get something I had never heard of. Since that day, Soulfly was what Metal should be. I like what Max did with Prophecy and his spirituality incorporated into his work showed me he was just not an angry, hateful person but a hopeful realist. Conquer, to me, was the total opposite and a misdirection because it became hateful and I felt Max was losing his way into corporate metal. Max, stay the course and don't sell your soul to the devil (record companies). You've suffered enough and the time has come to listen to your Innerspirit. When you come down to Calgary, Canada I'll be there, brother.
